The Orchard Retreat is proud to be a dog friendly site!
We have two dogs ourselves and understand what a joy it is to bring your four legged family members on holiday with you.
One or two well behaved dogs are allowed in all our cottages.
The charge for bringing a dog is £25 per dog for the duration of your stay.
However, there are a few things to consider when bringing your dog to The Orchard Retreat:
- Dogs must be kept under control at all times and on a lead where necessary.
- Dogs must always be within sight of you (the owners) whilst at The Orchard Retreat.
- Please make sure all dog poo is cleared up and put in the bins provided. We rely on our guests, who bring dogs, to leave the site as found – so that other guests can run around and enjoy the site without the worry of stepping in something nasty.
- Please ensure your dog is clean upon entering the cottages and kept off the furniture at all times. You are welcome to use the sink and hose outside the main house if they are particularly muddy.
We provide a dog pack in your accommodation containing a towel, bowl, jar of treats and a few poo bags. We kindly ask you to leave behind the towel, bowl and jar after your stay.
We are surrounded by working farms with sheep, cattle and organic free range chickens – so extra care is needed if your dog has an adventurous spirit. Thank you!
