Set within the main courtyard and a short distance from the grade 2 listed farmhouse, Apple Tree Cottage was originally used as a traditional animal house. It has been carefully renovated to a high standard to provide all the home comforts you will need. This charming detached cottage is set on one level and provides accommodation for up to four people.
On one side of the building is a lovely open plan living space with exposed beams. This incorporates a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as a spacious seating and dining area. There is also Wi-Fi, a smart television (so don’t forget the passwords for your streaming sites) with built in FreeSat.
On the other side of the building you will find the family bathroom and two double bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Each bed has a 1000 pocket sprung mattress, ensuring ultimate comfort during your stay. There are also hanging spaces and a chest of drawers in each bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. Apple Tree Cottage has its own delightful enclosed garden with garden furniture, fire bowl and charcoal BBQ.
The cottage is heated by an oil fired boiler and Apple Tree Cottage is lovely and warm during the winter months and when required throughout the rest of the year.

Please feel free to make use of The Gallery, a beautifully restored old cattle shed used as a communal leisure space – with Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor games, books, loo and laundry facilities. We also welcome you to use The Hidden Tubhouse, an outdoor bathroom with two cast iron baths and a shower, the communal fire pit or hire our cob pizza oven, both of which are located in the orchard.
Apple Tree Cottage is suitable for people with mobility difficulties as the living accommodation is on one level. However, it is not really suitable for wheelchair users due to a step between the living accommodation and bedrooms. That said, please contact us to discuss any mobility issues you have.
